Su Mingyan has played all kinds of games, from dating sims to survival tower defense, from pixel sandboxes to text-based puzzles. But he has the attention span of a goldfish when it comes to games, and is even too lazy to finish them. He soon moves on to something new.
Then one day, the male leads from four dating games show up in his home. A space fleet marshal, a stunning mermaid, a domineering CEO, and a half-blood demon king discover one another's existence and start fighting for his attention, turning his home upside down.
Su Mingyan thinks it's just another ridiculous love-triangle mess with his virtual boyfriends coming to life, and tries to defuse the crisis with a game of mahjong.
But then...
The protagonist of a horror game crawls out from under the bed, kicks a woman in white back into the shadows, grabs a chair and smashes the TV, then searches everywhere for hand sanitizer and bandages to treat his wounds. Covered in blood, he grabs Su Mingyan: "Come with me! I'll take you somewhere safe!"
The protagonist of a raising game appears in his bed, a fluffy little ball of softness. With huge, watery eyes, it calls him "Papa" and reaches out to be held, cute enough to kill.
The protagonist of an otome game, wearing fifteen-centimeter heels, casually tosses her wavy hair. "I don't want to waste my time with those stinky men. Men will only slow down my career! Bro, would you be my agent?"
The protagonist of a card game flips over the mahjong table with all four virtual boyfriends at it and starts dealing cards like a sexy online croupier. "Hey! If I give you eighteen cards, can you beat me in one turn?"
The protagonist of a survival game starts a vegetable garden on the roof of his house, determined to make sure everyone gets to eat vegetables he's grown himself. He frantically stockpiles supplies and collects rainwater, digging the soil as he tells Su Mingyan, "Even if the apocalypse comes, I'll keep you safe."
Su Mingyan only ever played these games for a few minutes at a time. He doesn't even know how any of them end.
Looking at the hundreds of unfinished games on his phone and computer, Su Mingyan's hand trembles as he grips the mouse.
The protagonist of a roguelike sits up from the floor. His shattered body has reassembled once again. No matter how sharp the blade or how powerful the enemy, they can't truly kill him. He can always start over.
"The dungeon has opened. Proceed to the next world."
"Go finish the games you've left behind, and give everyone a proper ending."
If the whole world is one grand game,
can you win?
Reader's Notes:
1. It's not clear yet who the top will be. Anyway, everyone loves the bottom!
2. The blurb and the plot may change before the story begins. Anything is possible.
