Beast Taming [Criminal Investigation]

The day Xiao Ye reported for duty at the city bureau, he saw criminal investigation team captain Song Qing drag a fierce-looking criminal into the police station lobby. The criminal looked to be at least 180 centimeters tall, yet in Song Qing's hands he was like a weakling.

Song Qing had broad shoulders and a narrow waist, bulging arm muscles, and veins standing out beneath his tan skin. His eyes were fierce and bright. Looking at the tall, imposing Song Qing, Xiao Ye unconsciously licked his teeth.

--What a beautiful beast. I really want to see if he'll beg for mercy when he's driven into a corner.

While chasing a criminal, Song Qing jumped down from the second floor, rolled to absorb the impact, then kicked down a knife-wielding criminal. Xiao Ye watched from a second-floor window, a flicker of amusement passing through his eyes.

--He looks even more like a beast when he runs.

Song Qing sensed someone watching him. When he looked up, he saw Xiao Ye, the new forensic examiner at the bureau.

Xiao Ye stood in the dim window, his porcelain-white skin as delicate as a pool of moonlight.

--How can this guy be prettier than a woman?

That moment of distraction was all it took for someone to hit Song Qing in the head.

After that, Song Qing found himself acting stranger and stranger.

He could shoot a kidnapper dead from a hundred meters away and disarm a desperate criminal with his bare hands, but every time Xiao Ye called him "bro," he got nervous.

By day, he was the backbone of the team, decisive in solving cases and catching criminals, using his seniority and position to keep Xiao Ye in line. But at night, he had to kneel at Xiao Ye's feet and admit he was wrong.

Xiao Ye looked down at the man kneeling before him and reached out to pat his head. "You horny dog, want a late-night snack again?"
