"Main story complete"
[Gu Yuan x Mo Lin; lonely, aloof bottom x high-EQ “playboy” top]
A forensic doctor and a criminal psychologist team up to catch criminals and solve cases in this sweet episodic mystery.
*
Everyone knows that Mo Lin is best at criminal profiling, and second best at being Forensic Doctor Gu's personal psychologist.
Mo Lin, the renowned criminal psychology expert, loves visiting Forensic Doctor Gu's office. He even locks the door, and on top of that, he won't let anyone in.
Mo Lin: “Have you been feeling dizzy lately?”
Gu Yuan: “Yes.”
Mo Lin: “Often?”
Gu Yuan: “Not really.”
Mo Lin: “Well, that's a problem.”
Gu Yuan: “What is? Is it getting worse?”
Mo Lin: “No. It means you're falling in love with me.”
Gu Yuan: “Do you know what you're doing?”
Mo leaned close to Gu's ear and chuckled. “Of course... healing the sick and saving lives.”
One is a straight male forensic doctor with stress disorder; the other is a criminal psychology expert who looks like a flirt and claims he never loses control of his emotions. They're worlds apart, yet they share one thing: neither of them has much of an emotional response to anything.
Then he met him, and their distorted equilibrium was shattered. Their heart rates went haywire, their emotions ran wild... It was like a raging fire, burning away the shackles around their hearts.
*You're my medicine. When you're not by my side, I have one fewer source of stress to stimulate me.*
A story about solving cases together and saving each other.
A note from the author:
① This book has a first installment, and the romance continues from there. The cases are episodic, though, so whether you skip the first book or jump between volumes, each story will still make sense on its own.
② A note about the top's split personality: it isn't split personality in the literal sense. Essentially, he's still one person. I won't reveal too much here to avoid spoilers.
③ The descriptions of changes to the bodies can be quite detailed, but they're a little milder than in the first installment in terms of horror and grossness.
④ I'll do my best to keep the writing professional and rigorous, but I may still get some things wrong. I hope you'll understand.

Upcoming Story 1: This Forensic Doctor Is a Little Cold
[Devoted police detective top with severe narcissism x genius, looks-obsessed forensic doctor bottom]
[Episodic mysteries]
Di Ye, the captain of the major crimes team, worked his way up from the bottom. He's decisive and has a bit of a gangster air about him. His specialty is intimidating his opponents with sheer force of presence.
A new forensic doctor recently joined the team. No matter how Di Ye looked at him, he seemed delicate and frail, with a face that was thirty percent babyish and seventy percent sweet. Di Ye couldn't tell if the guy had been weaned yet.
One day, the police team encountered a major criminal case. Di Ye teased Leng Ning, who looked harmless, while holding a bottle of AD calcium milk: “Go stand over there and suck on your milk.”
Leng Ning silently accepted it. “Thanks.”
Di Ye pushed past a group of young officers with their hands over their mouths, retching. “Everyone, get behind me!”
He glanced at the crime scene and felt his stomach turn.
Leng Ning calmly stepped forward to examine the body, handling it from every angle before performing an autopsy right there.
When he was done, he put away his scalpel, took out the AD calcium milk, and calmly sucked on it.
Di Ye: ??? What are you... doing?
Leng Ning: Performing an autopsy.
Di Ye: ???
Leng Ning: Oh, now I'm drinking milk.
Theme: The net of justice may be vast, but no one escapes it.

I finished watching it on August 31, 2025. I couldn't sleep in the middle of the night and wanted to talk. At that time, I felt that the good intentions of watching it were not exhausted. The young couple felt pretty good while I kept watching. The first impression of Guiyuan may be cold (Brother Lin's perspective is very cute), but his "avoidance" of social interaction from the beginning gradually integrated into him, and he was slowly and subtly being healed until he recovered. When I saw this, I felt like a child had grown up. Brother Lin really allowed him to accept a lot, and the psychological pain gradually disappeared, and the reality he saw would eventually become beautiful because of love. Speaking of Brother Lin, when I watched the first movie, I always thought of him as a handsome psychological guy with a super cool beer, high emotional intelligence and a relatively likable psychology. Until now, I know about his "special physique". Brother Lin is also protecting Guiyuan, which is particularly obvious from the first part of the showdown with Duan Yang. He has always concealed something habitually, and even thought about Guiyuan's feelings after knowing it, but Guiyuan willingly entered Lin Ge's world and chose to "fight side by side" rather than let him bear it all alone. In my opinion, the relationship between the two is rich in love, tolerance and redemption. No matter what, we must keep going (I really like the little design of feeding sugar! I am also very satisfied with the ending arrangement, and I feel that the two of them will be very happy in the future??·??·??*????). I also like Wen Zihan very much. The end of the first part is considered his debut CP?? Although it's a pity that he didn't appear in the second part, I feel that it would be more fun to chat with him (I am inexplicably reminded of the "egg drop soup" I had at the hotel that time). Now I kind of want to tell him the love stories of Linge Guiyuan, hahaha. To be honest, I'm a little curious about Lin Ge Guiyuan's cp name, and I can't think of anything at the moment... Anyway, I hope you will continue to work hard and be happy every day! I will continue to pay attention to other works when I have time ~ [Orange Candy] I tasted [Purple Candy] kswl
Woo hoo To be honest, I personally think DaDa has written quite well. At least it is to my liking [Spread Flowers]. I really love this series. This is one of the few criminal investigation novels that I can continue to read. DaDa writes a very exciting plot. Whether it is the case or the interaction between CP, it really attracts me. Especially the character Mo Lin is really interesting. I really love the plot of him feeding Gu Yuan sugar [Let Me Be Healthy]. This book is in the top ten in my heart. DaDa is really well written! Finally, I wish you success in your career, be happy, write better works, and become popular as soon as possible! I will always support you for nothing, I love you so much, come on (づ ωど)
Finished reading, January 28, 2026 I have collected it since the first part was serialized. When the first part was serialized, I couldn't help but follow up on updates (actually I rarely follow up on updates). If the writing style of the first part is still a bit immature, then the second part is already very mature. I had already closed this book, but after thinking about it I decided to leave a review. I think the data in the second volume is completely inappropriate. The writing and story rhythm are good. After reading it, I was shocked to see that the collection of this book is so low. In my opinion, it is completely covered with dust. I like the stories of these two parts very much. If the first part is about Mo Lin saving Gu Yuan, then the second part is about Gu Yuan pulling Mo Lin up from the abyss. To Gu Yuan, Mo Lin is the only color in the black and white world, the throbbing that blooms in numbness year after year. Then to Mo Lin, Gu Yuan is the lighthouse in the abyss. As long as the lighthouse is there, he will never lose his way. I like their story very much. The author said that their story is finished, but I have a little selfishness. If I have the energy in the future, will I publish 3? It's a long-form detective series. I really like their story.
Who is this old woman?
I would like to ask the author, did the traces of Gu Yuan and another person in Teacher Mo's family also forged by Teacher Mo?
I've finished both books, the writing is great
I've finished watching both of them. They're so good. I'm so happy with the ending~
This is the first criminal investigation book I've ever read. Like it very much! I hope the author can create better works in the future!
Here it comes. Congratulations on finishing.
