[Western Crossover] On My Resurrection

Hilda opened her eyes and found herself sitting on the roof of a building at least several hundred meters tall. One wrong move and she'd be meeting her maker.

On a platform a few floors below, a man in green with two horns on his head was fighting fiercely with a burly man carrying a hammer.

An alien spaceship was parked opposite her. A person in a red cape and a red-and-gold suit of armor flew through the sky, while ugly, unidentifiable creatures that made her question her own eyes were everywhere on the ground.

Screams and explosions filled her ears. It was like the end of the world.

Just as she wondered how she could survive, a voice sounded in her ear.

[Dear Host, your current Affection value is 200. Join the battle immediately and earn people's affection by helping either side, or you won't live to see tomorrow.]

Hilda: ???

## With no family, no friends, and absolutely no memories, Hilda had no choice but to rack her brains and make up stories to survive. She brought out a Kyubey and started playing magical girl with her secret identity. Just as things were going swimmingly, she suddenly discovered two things.

First, she seemed to have died and come back to life, and her hometown was none other than the famous Gotham.

Second, the stories she'd made up seemed to have become real.

Hilda's pupils shook: Wow, does that mean she's that Wayne's daughter and she's been dead for half a year? Wow, so magical girls really are such a vicious thing?

#### The System told Hilda that if she wanted to survive, she had to be loved. This was the fate she'd chosen for herself.

But Hilda wondered: What if she refused?

Potentially problematic elements:

* The timeline has been heavily altered, and most of the plot will be original.

* I've written crossover stories before, but despite trying, I never managed to capture the right feel for a DC story. If anything makes you uncomfortable, it's definitely my fault. (Bows.) I apologize for any stereotypes or out-of-character portrayals I may include. If anything bothers you, please feel free to stop reading.

* There's a lot of magical-girl content. The early story is split evenly between that and DC, with the DC main plot taking over later.

* In theory, this is a Batfamily story, but the Batfamily content is almost nonexistent. Since the female lead's death is part of her growth arc, there won't be any kind of dramatic atonement plot.
