[Western Crossover] The Everygirl's Everyday Gossip

[Completed in full, so read without worry]

The Court of Owls is a notorious villain organization in a certain superhero universe. Like the other villains in the story, it loves making trouble for the protagonists, and its Talons are truly formidable opponents.

Sophia looked down at the Court of Owls uniform she was wearing and fell into deep thought.

Who would want to work for a slave company with no benefits and mandatory overtime? Do these Talons not eat or sleep?

Blow up the company's base, send her former coworker and boss to the afterlife, and hand all the evidence of their crimes over to Gotham's authorities.

At last, the little owl who had kept her head down and stayed anonymous could sit peacefully in a classroom and close her eyes.

The Witcher System in her head wouldn't stop ringing. "You have a new 'Have You Killed Them Yet?' order. It has been accepted automatically. Please deal with it promptly."

The newly minted Witcher, pushed past her limit, slung two swords over her back and headed up to the Gotham clock tower, where she ran into the black bat-eared Batman. Down in the sewers, she stood shoulder to shoulder with Killer Croc. She wished she could mix the ashes of every dark creature with those of her bosses and coworkers, then scatter them in Gotham Bay to feed the fish.

While busy dealing with work, Sophia turned around and saw the little golden bird following her get ushered under the big bat's dark cape. Before she could condemn him for stealing her bird, she saw the little red bird behind her calmly put away his surveillance equipment.

"I'm yours now, Miss Witcher."

In the night breeze, the boy's eyes curved with a sly glint. Sophia was caught off guard when he took her hand, and he never let go again.

A new urban legend began circulating in Gotham. Every night, a strange owl with two swords on its back appeared.

It was neither the Talon from the nursery rhyme, who had killed countless people, nor a monster that ate humans. If you met it in the dead of night, don't scream or be afraid. Its only prey was monsters that fed on people.

Young children, don't fear the protector's terrifying face, and don't worry that you'll become a monster's next meal.

As long as owls exist, as long as Witchers exist, sweet dreams will come to every corner of Gotham until the night is over.
