Scorching Heat [GB]

People their age all have their own goals and live with purpose. Ling Yue, on the other hand, has no desires and just lets the days pass.

Having nothing means there's nothing to be sad about losing.

One day, Ling Yue went around behind the teaching building to throw away some trash and saw a boy sitting sideways on top of the wall.

Sunlight veiled his face, leaving only his long, slender neck in sharp focus. It sank deep into her eyes.

The summer heat was sweltering, and cicadas sang without pause.

Ling Yue lowered her gaze to her palm, her thoughts running wild. The idea of gripping the boy by the throat with one hand and controlling his breathing as she pleased seemed rather interesting.

That summer, at seventeen, she found something she truly wanted.

After they got together, Ling Yue asked Jiang Luyan how he put up with her possessiveness.

He answered gently, "You're wonderful."

There weren't that many reasons.

It was because Ling Yue would always come first in Jiang Luyan's heart.

Ling Yue × Jiang Luyan

Domineering, controlling girl × boy who indulges her without limits

Please note:

1. Girl Boss!

2. Two pitiable souls find warmth in each other. No angst in their relationship.

3. Not a typical school story. The protagonists are average students, and they're not interested in studying, only making money.
