I Got a New Toy After I Died [GB]

=

At seventeen, Liang Zhen's mother remarried, and he moved into his new home.

There were only two bedrooms, so he had to move into the room of his deceased younger sister.

A black-and-white portrait hung on the wall. The girl's features were delicate, her eyes sharp, and she looked as if she thought she was above the world.

She had died in the prime of her youth. Liang Zhen felt a pang of regret. "Hello, Liang Weixia. I'm Liang Zhen."

That night, Liang Zhen felt a heavy tightness in his chest as a terrifying chill wrapped around him.

His consciousness began to blur. A haughty girl's voice fell by his ear. "Tsk. So you're the one who wanted to see me?"

After drowning, Liang Weixia became a drifting, uncertain spirit.

She couldn't touch anything physical. Every time she tried, her hand passed right through it.

That is, until Liang Zhen arrived. She could touch anything he had touched.

The girl lay back on her own big bed and thought casually: This so-called "older brother"... is just a new toy, isn't he?

Liang Weixia x Liang Zhen

A laid-back, cool girl x a wooden, stubborn, foolish older brother

Reader Advisory:

1. Girl-on-boy romance!!!

2. The heroine is a ghost for the first half of the story, then gains a solid body in the middle-to-later part.

3. The hero is head over heels and is often toyed with by the ghost girl, who has him wrapped around her little finger.

4. The blurb was written on October 24, 2023, and a screenshot has been saved.

Theme: Love that transcends life and death.
