Tempting My Sister-in-Law [GB]

=

Gu Yubai first met Sheng Qingdai during a beast rampage.

She cut down the charging ferocious beast with a single stroke. Blood splashed across her pale cheek, making her delicate features look even more like a painting.

“Be good, little one.”

Sheng Qingdai took Gu Yubai to a temporary shelter, ruffled his hair casually, and left.

When they met again, Sheng Qingdai had become his sister-in-law.

Gu Yubai watched the inseparable pair, his chest burning like a fire.

His half-brother, who shared only one parent with him, had the family affection he could never get and had even found a happy romance. Why should he get everything?

Later, Gu Tingqian got into trouble during a mission.

Gu Yubai felt no grief. If anything, he was secretly relieved.

Sorry, big brother. Now it's my chance.

When Sheng Qingdai received Gu Yubai's love letter for the first time, she paid no mind to a kid's adolescent prank.

With a few bold strokes, she wrote “Study hard” and returned it exactly as it was.

The next time Gu Yubai cornered her to confess, Sheng Qingdai twisted his arm, suddenly turning the tables.

“Be a good boy, little one. Call me sister-in-law.”

Later, the little boy she remembered had grown up, his sharp features completely unlike his brother's.

Sheng Qingdai looked up at him. “What trick are you trying now?”

Gu Yubai had long since grown taller than her, but his eyes were still just like they had been back then, holding only her reflection.

“Sheng Qingdai, choose me.”

He put himself on display, letting her make her assessment.

“It's time to try a different flavor, isn't it?”
