No romance, just deep friendships between the whole cast, like the close bonds between friends in shonen manga (. 2. The protagonist eventually has three different faces. The entire Police Academy Five are saved. 3. Overall, it might be pretty satisfying, but it's not a traditional power-progression story. 4. The protagonist loves his fellow cadets, and I love the characters I've written, too. Even if you don't like my writing, please don't hurt them. It's my lifelong request! *The Dangerous Job of a Detective Conan Investigator!* ID: 9236124 When creating a character sheet, Momokawa chose random and left everything to fate. [...So your destiny is 40 Dexterity and 90 Appearance?] KP asked cautiously. “And the other 40?” Momokawa said, touched. “A ridiculously cool and handsome guy with one bad leg. Perfect.” The KP, who knew the story, glanced at the name of a certain curly-haired police officer in the first section of the sheet, then at the curly-haired police officer still alive in this world, and fell into deep thought. Does Matsuda know you're spreading rumors about him? * Maybe he didn't know at the time, but he found out later. Momokawa was really giving it his all to clear the scenario. So the people from the real world, who were also in the scenario, saw the following: Facing the scenario's boss, who was about to attack, [Matsuda] rolled a critical success on Dexterity, spun around with incredible agility, and dodged the attack with his glowing prosthetic leg. “That startled me.” The curly-haired investigator calmly adjusted his sunglasses. “I see, it was nothing. Even a cripple can dodge that.” Beside him, Furuya, who had fallen over after failing his Dexterity roll: ...Is this guy taking a dig at me? Facing an NPC who needed to be questioned, [Furuya] critically failed his Charm roll and tried to run, but the deranged NPC grabbed him and launched into a heartfelt confession. “Please calm down...” The grade-school investigator, with a size score of 15, tried to push away the NPC's ever-closer face. “It's illegal to like me!” Edogawa, standing nearby, was horrified: Someone help! There's a pedophile here! And he's hitting on a mini Mr. Amuro! Hearing whispers carried on the sea breeze, [Kudo] critically succeeded on his Inspiration roll and went completely insane, demonstrating the art of being a lunatic. “Ran? What a coincidence, you're here too.” The black-haired investigator, who had only recently come of age, smiled and greeted her. “Want to head over there together?” The phantom thief, who had merely been passing by and was dragged over, stared at him and sucked in a breath: You call me Ran? And so on. The locals were dumbfounded. Even with the truth right in front of them, they still didn't want to admit these people were their counterparts from a parallel world. In response, Momokawa asked the KP the most heartfelt question: “Are you a coin?” It's either a critical success or a critical failure. Are you messing with me?! * Some time later, with her career as an investigator flourishing, Momokawa casually told the story of her past. “Becoming a legendary investigator is easy. I was only sacrificed to a cult three times a week on average, destroyed two of their world-ending plans, and nearly got assaulted once...” “...How are you still alive?” “Right? How am I still alive? (^▽^)” * Reader's guide: 1. The story mainly uses the Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition rules, but sometimes uses house rules depending on how lazy the author feels and where the plot goes. The priority is for the investigators to have fun and for everyone to enjoy reading. 2. Not your typical cosmic horror. The scenarios serve the story. 3. Except where the plot requires otherwise, most dice rolls depend on the dice bot's mood. No rigging. 4. Don't believe the first rule XD Theme: There will always be someone willing to burn themselves in the darkness, pressing forward to make someone's wish come true.
