When he graduated from high school, the Middle Ones' dog meeting had taken over Hachihara. They now drink and celebrate at his house every day, much to his distress. Just as he puts his hopes in Beika, Tokyo, he arrives and discovers that it's even more absurd than Hachihara. There is a murder every three steps, a bank robbery every five, and a distillery every ten. He used to attract only yokai, but now he attracts criminals and cases too. Is the crime rate in Tokyo really this high? Natsume is baffled. It wasn't like this when he lived here before! Later, after another chaotic night of unexpected events, he ends up with a blond, dark-skinned detective with a drink for a codename. That's when he realizes people can attract not only yokai, criminals, and cases, but distilleries too. His ordinary, unremarkable life. (Er Kang reaches out.)
