The Light Child's Troubles [Crossover + Sky: Children of the Light]

Every morning, Xiao Jinghua would sit on the star chart at Home, waiting for her one and only friend to come online. Then she would carry her on her back as they slowly made their way through the maps. She knew she and her friend weren't quite the same. Her friend was a real person living in another world, for one thing. But Xiao Jinghua didn't mind. In her world, she'd met plenty of strangers rushing past, just like her old friends. Only her friend was willing to stop and take her hand. "Want to come with me? I'm running the maps alone, too." Her friend shook out her white cape, which shimmered faintly, and solemnly held out a hand. "I'll protect you." Before leaving, her friend even patted her on the head and worriedly told her not to go looking for a Dark Dragon alone, even though they both knew she could never get hurt. "Xiao Jinghua, wait for me to come back from the Eye of Eden. Then you can hold my hand and fly me around!" But she never came back. Xiao Jinghua waited for her on a hill in the Butterfly Fields, on the tallest tree in the Hidden Forest ruins with an umbrella, on the snowy ground in the Valley of Triumph, at the top of the Vault of Knowledge, and at the entrance to the Eye of Eden. Her friend's name was always lit up on the star chart, day and night, but Xiao Jinghua never saw her appear again. So she decided to enter the Eye of Eden, where she'd gone many times before, and bring her friend back herself. This is probably the story of a self-aware program named "Izumi Kyoka," a Descendant of the Light who searches for little lights while also looking for her friend, who has somehow gotten lost at the edge of the world. 1. Inspired by a comic strip. Changed to no romance, with a sisterly bond between Atsushi and Kyoka. 2. Updates for my other story come first. 3. Slowly building up a backlog of chapters. Theme: Bring light to the world.
