Zhou Ling transmigrated to another world. Ordinary humans lived here, as did spirit mages born with spirit-vein bloodlines, but she became a frail middle schooler from a poor family.

During the spirit-vein test before enrollment, Zhou Ling asked the staff member sweetly, "Hello, if my spirit vein is unusual, can I get my tuition reduced?"

The staff member looked at her as if she were trash.

When the results came out, Zhou Ling was taken away by the headmaster. The staff member's lips trembled, their face practically saying, "I'm the trash here."

The power at the heart of a spirit mage comes from living things in nature. It might be a plant or an animal, or even a legend that only appears in books, such as... a dragon.

Dragons are the foremost of all living creatures. Dragons have nine sons, and each of the nine has many branches. Simply put, anyone with even a trace of dragon blood can throw their weight around anywhere.

Take the arrogant little chubby boy who strutted right up to Zhou Ling on her first day at school.

He put on airs and asked, "My source is Taotie, and I'm the sole heir of the fifty-eighth generation of the Xiao family. What bloodline do you belong to?"

The chubby boy's lackeys whispered among themselves, "During the entrance test, it looked like she had horns growing on her head. The two little horns were pretty cute. Is she a deer?"

"…" A deer?

Zhou Ling fell silent.

How was she supposed to explain... that her source was the "dragon" among the "Nine Sons of the Dragon"?

In other words, she was the father of his entire family?
