Xi Ling is a lingzhi spirit.

A thousand-year-old lingzhi spirit is a treasure beyond compare.

When she had just learned to take human form, Xi Ling spent every day from dawn to dusk running for her life. Eating her was so nourishing that ordinary mortals could be replenished until their seven orifices bled and their bodies burst, while cultivators could be nourished straight into immortality. Every living being in the Six Realms wanted to eat her.
