I'll Go Crazy with You

Lin Yi'an, a girl with a loli-like appearance who has never lost a fight at school, has always believed there's nothing a good beating can't solve.

That is, until her new deskmate arrives: Jiang Yan, a gentle and polite handsome boy, the schoolgirls' darling and top student.

On their very first day as deskmates, Lin Yi'an lays down the law.

"I hear top students like you don't just love studying. You also like getting everyone around you to study too." Lin Yi'an draws a clear line between them, acting all haughty. "Sorry, don't ask me. I'm not studying."

Day one: They mind their own business.

Day two: They still mind their own business.

Two months later.

After the midterms, the notorious troublemaker Lin Yi'an receives the "Most Improved Student" award and takes the stage to speak.

The dean says, "Lin Yi'an, we're so pleased to see you turn over a new leaf. Could you share how you feel with everyone?"

Lin Yi'an looks at someone's handsome smile in the audience and says expressionlessly, "I feel so embarrassed right now. Can I get down?"

After things settle down between them, Lin Yi'an makes a point of paying attention to Jiang Yan's heart condition.

She asks him, "Is there anything you need to watch out for with your illness?"

Jiang Yan: "I can't get too worked up."

Lin Yi'an pats him on the shoulder and promises, "All right. I'll be careful not to get you too excited from now on."

Later, Lin Yi'an confesses to Jiang Yan, but he takes a long time to respond.

Just as she thinks he's about to turn her down, Jiang Yan suddenly takes her hand and presses it against the left side of his chest.

She feels his heartbeat, strong and alive, beating again and again.

The boy's face is pale, but he smiles. His words are slow and clear: "Didn't you promise not to get me too excited?"
