Comments on individual chapters are open; revisions may happen from time to time.] [Mainly Kuroko’s Basketball, with a beloved-by-all cast and a slice-of-life focus.] [The author’s notes contain lots of exclusive bonus scenes, including a Demon Realm side story~] Blurb A little demon who feeds on love accidentally arrives in the human world. Before he can figure out what’s going on, he witnesses a sixteen-year-old gravity manipulator unleash a powerful attack and blast a magical beast. A chill runs down his tailbone. “H-Humans are terrifying!” From then on, he develops a massive misconception about humans, the legendary creatures. To survive in the human world, the little demon carefully hides his tail, disguises himself as a human, and enrolls at Teiko Middle School. Later, looking at the adoptive father / wild dad / senior / friend... by his side, he gives his disguise a confident perfect score. One day, the little demon notices that the gentle red-haired captain of the basketball team has suddenly changed personality. He’s become cold and chuunibyou, with an imposing air, and his behavior seems a lot like a demon’s rut. The little demon suddenly understands. He taps the captain with the tip of his tail, his golden eyes sparkling, and asks excitedly in a hushed voice, “Do you have demon ruts too?” The red-haired captain looks at the obvious demon tail of his junior, then recalls his usual nickname for him, “little angel,” and falls silent. After seeing the captain use an Ankle Breaker to make someone drop to their knees, the little demon is thrilled. So the captain does things like that during his demon ruts too! He’s not the only one! The little demon rubs his hands together, excited. “Captain, can you do that again?” The captain gazes at him for a long while, sighs, then looks up at his opponent, ready to grant his wish. Opponent: !! Opponent: Are you demons or something?! The little demon jolts. Has he been found out? The captain orders coldly, “Take it back.” The Phantom Sixth Man pats the little demon on the shoulder and says earnestly, “We won’t let them slander you.” The Generation of Miracles all put on their own brand of kindly smiles. That’s right, this is definitely slander. Their junior and apprentice is obviously a little angel! He just has a tiny quirk or two, and the captain is the one who led him astray. Opponent, trembling: He’s not a demon, he’s... he’s an angel... The little demon ponders this. So as long as you beat someone until they take it back, your identity won’t be exposed. Opponent: You’re the terrifying one here! Legend has it that Teiko Middle School has a white demon (crossed out), a white angel. He is the new generation’s leader, taught by the Generation of Miracles. Teiko Middle School’s championship streak continues. Reader’s guide: 1. A cute little love-devouring demon who adores affection, paired with the captain. True split personality × fake split personality. They’re in four kinds of romantic relationships at once. Won’t you give it a try? 2. Mainly Kuroko’s Basketball, with a beloved-by-all cast and a slice-of-life focus. Everyone helps raise the little demon. His role is different from Kuroko’s, so there’s no conflict. No secondary pairings. Everyone except the main couple has familial or platonic feelings, with no ambiguity. 3. During basketball games, characters won’t use abilities beyond the level of Kuroko’s Basketball. Relevant ability-monitoring regulations and equipment ensure fair play. 4. Demon ruts do not equal personality changes. There’s another reason for the scene in the blurb, which will be explained in the story. 5. Rakuzan wins the Winter Cup. 6. Includes only basketball, Bungo Stray Dogs, and Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun. No Jujutsu Kaisen or Detective Conan. Just as he’s getting ready to build himself up from nothing and become a godfather of the underworld, a whole crowd of men in black suits comes rushing up to him, saying he has blood ties to the family of the current Godfather. And the current Mafia Godfather turns out to be the very mentor who taught him when he played the game! The friends on his list who once beat him in father-son matches while gaming and became his “dads” are there too. Their real identities include the boss of a famous family, the head of an assassination squad, the Sword Emperor, the head of a top financial conglomerate, the world’s strongest illusionist, the world’s number-one assassin, a mysterious avenger... In short, every last one of them is a big shot. And all these big shots think he’s weak, pitiful, and helpless. As a Yokohama native from a place where people are known for their simple, honest ways, Carleton had planned to reject this role. But then he realizes: these dads all know each other?! Back when he wanted to coax them into playing with him, he told each one that they were his only daddy. Does this mean they’re going to find out he’s a two-timing, daddy-collecting scumbag of a son? (Horrified) Love-triangle showdown warning! With disaster looming, Carleton once again brings out his tricks for placating his dads: acting sweet and obedient, and talking his way out of anything. He flutters the little snow-white wings on his back, a pure and delicate smile blooming on his adorable face. That’s right, I’m super delicate. There’s no way I could be a player. And I definitely wasn’t the one who stirred up trouble and wrecked the place! Word spreads that the strongest family, the Vongola, has an heir to its eleventh generation of bosses. Assassination attempts and schemes targeting the child emerge one after another, all intent on snuffing him out early. But not only do they fail to harm him, they also provoke fierce retaliation from every faction. Even the Vongola’s enemies step in to protect the child. They watch helplessly as the young heir grows up under the protection of that pack of ferocious beasts and natural disasters, eventually becoming a new Godfather capable of turning the world upside down, someone they can only bow their heads to and treat with respect. Theme: Sincere friendship and family, and forging an era of your own.
