I'm the Lord of Urban Legends at the Metropolitan Police Department

Blurb:

"Tales of the Strange Are Always Watching Me" is a recently viral horror manga, the latest work from veteran mystery manga artist Shimu Baiguiji. His art is so masterful it seems almost supernatural, and every strange tale is vividly brought to life.

Wanlichuan Zhilin is the manga's creator, a succubus in his mature stage.

He has two worries. First, he just solved his boyfriend's curse problem, only for his boyfriend to receive an urgent assignment from his superior and rush off to tutor a middle school student. That leaves him, a lonely succubus, home alone.

His bright red, heart-tipped tail sways into view. Wanlichuan Zhilin frets: How is he supposed to get through this sensitive period?

Second, before the manga "Guai Wo" could be completed, he was forced to stop updating because of a forum app that had inexplicably linked itself to him.

APP: The paper you draw your manga on is a "book," so the strange tales you created are about to be born in the real world. As their mother, you are responsible for finding them and teaching them to behave.

Wanlichuan Zhilin's pupils quake: Huh?

APP: You are now an officer in the Metropolitan Police Department's Special Object Containment Division. Lead your subordinates in completing the containment missions.

Forum:

[This guy is so handsome. Come here and let Auntie kiss you.]

[Did I read that right? The official setting says he's a succubus. Is that allowed on air? Though now I'm even more excited, hehe.]

[This livestream is terrifying one minute and ridiculous the next. I don't know if a coward like me should watch.]

[The person above, go ahead and watch. An old fan can tell you these strange tales will obediently call the streamer Mommy. They're so adorable.]

[Hehe, a love-triangle showdown! I love those. Give us more!]

Under his boyfriend's murderous glare, Wanlichuan Zhilin quietly said, "Help me."

Warnings:

1. The pairing is R-san. There may possibly be female forms (beautiful secret identities) and cross-dressing, and characters may call him Mom or Mother. The chat may also call him wifey.

2. Harem-style romantic chaos, with a new secret identity every day. Later on, he may be able to use strange-tale secret identities.

3. The five members of the Sakuragi group are saved. The timeline is jumbled, and containment missions may not happen in the order given in the blurb.

4. The strange tales are original, with inspirations noted.

5. No secondary pairings. Everyone loves Zhilin.

6. I read and reply to comments depending on my mood.

Theme: Take responsibility for your creative work and strive for perfection.
