The Star-Snatching Plan

Duan Xingyu's family goes bankrupt, forcing him back into show business to make money and pay off their debts. His agent says the fastest way to boost his popularity is to go on a variety show and fake a couple pairing. Duan Xingyu doesn't understand, but he follows the advice. But the agent only said to fake a pairing, not who he should fake one with. So he picks the most handsome person among all the guests and, in the dark of night with no one around, tearfully knocks on the man's door. Agent: ? I said find someone to fake a pairing with, not a man! The young master Duan thinks he's very cool: I can't bring myself to deceive a young woman. 😎✊🏻 Agent: ... Damn, he even has principles! It isn't until later that Duan Xingyu realizes he picked the wrong person for his "scandalous pairing." The man isn't a variety show guest at all. He's a powerful behind-the-scenes figure who strikes fear into everyone! And he's the very man who tried to keep Duan Xingyu years ago! Duan Xingyu: ...Damn, I miscalculated! Later, Lin Heqing hears about it somehow and pins him down so he can't move. "So when you called me 'husband' last night, were you lying to me too?" Young Master Duan's expression is completely numb. "No. You forced me. 🥵" #TheLittleStarIWantedToSponsorYearsAgoCameToMeOnHisOwn Rising star x powerful tycoon Kept lover (?) romance Theme: The early bird gets the worm.
