Can a Pretty Cannon Fodder Become a Wife?

Su Ran grew up in the countryside. He was naturally a little slow-witted, and rather vacant.

His family was busy over summer vacation, so his parents sent him to the city to visit a distant cousin.

According to the rumors, this cousin was the son of the richest man in the country, a badly behaved menace who was a nightmare for everyone in A City's social circles. His family was so powerful, though, that no one dared cross him.

There was a pretty little boy in the house now.

Yan Chi had just returned from the racetrack with his lackeys. Nearly six foot three, broad-shouldered and muscular, he sauntered over with a long stride to size the little boy up.

Pretty. His round eyes were like jewels, and his skin was surprisingly soft. He didn't look like he'd grown up in the countryside at all.

A little dim, too. He looked easy to pick on.

“Are you even old enough, baby?” Yan Chi asked, all casual and cocky.

Su Ran: “Huh?”

Su Ran had imagined how his rumored cousin might react.

Would his cousin look down on him for growing up in the countryside? Would he hate him for being a little slow? Would he hit him like other people did?

He never expected his cousin to be so good to him!

Su Ran really, really liked his cousin!

His cousin would hold him and let him sit on his lap, gently feed him, and soothe him to sleep at night!

Yan Chi (after doing a whole bunch of things): ?

Could the kid really be that clueless?

Grinding his teeth, Yan Chi nearly turned all of A City upside down to track down the little boy who had almost run off with someone else and bring him back.

He rubbed Su Ran's soft, pale ankle.

“Baby... don't push me.”
