Scandalous Tales of the Zhaowu Bureau

Longya, the top assassin of Youling, is known for "killing a man within ten paces and leaving no trace even after a thousand miles." After killing General Zhenyue Hou, beloved by the people, he is hunted by the entire Jinwu Guard and tumbles off a cliff, gravely wounded.

Not long after, Lin Yinze, a famous male erotic art collector and the commander of Zhaowu Bureau, a long-established haven for officials who draw salaries without working, brings a sickly beauty back from the outskirts. Rumors about them soon spread throughout the capital.
