The Nation's First Love

[Warning: There's basically no plot besides the romance. I'll fix typos and update bonus chapters when I have time.]

[The companion story, set in the same world, "Project Steal the Stars," is coming soon.]

Recently, a famous screenwriter in the industry spent a fortune making a charity film, casting Chi Yi, whose popularity was at its peak, and Zhu Wen, the top star in the modeling world.

Chi Yi debuted as a child actor, then retired for ten years. When he returned, he shot straight to the top of the trending searches. The nation's little brother had transformed overnight into the nation's dream husband. His irresistible sex appeal and the pheromones practically bursting through the screen left fans unable to get enough.

Zhu Wen, a Chinese-German beauty with long hair, conquered the entire fashion world with a single photo of himself fresh out of the shower, wet and half-naked. No one could rival him.

The nation's "husband" versus the nation's "wife." After the film was announced, everyone looked forward to seeing what kind of sparks the two would create together.

But before any sparks could fly, rumors of discord between them broke out, and their two fandoms started fighting.

Their fanbases were enormous, and everywhere they went was a cesspit of hostility.

Everyone said Chi Yi and Zhu Wen were incompatible, and couldn't stand each other.

What they didn't know was that the nastiest fights between the fandoms happened when the two were having their most intense encounters in bed.

Through the long, long night, Zhu Wen read Chi Yi's fans' malicious comments aloud, comforting him gently as he went:

"Fans' actions are their idols' responsibility."

"Don't cry, Gege."

Then, one day...

Zhu Wen attended a fashion week. As he walked the red carpet, a male fan shouted at the top of his lungs, "Wifey!"

Zhu Wen had walked the whole way with a cold expression, but suddenly turned around and took the microphone from the host.

He smiled at the cameras. "I have a lovely wife at home. Don't call me that."

That day, Weibo exploded.

The whole world was discussing who the "lovely wife" Zhu Wen had mentioned could be.

While Zhu Wen's fans wore long faces as they reported posts and tried to control the narrative, Chi Yi's supertopic was as jubilant as New Year's. Fans celebrated with gongs and drums. Some were so excited they lost their minds and posted directly in front of their idol:

[Bestie! Did you see? Zhu Wen's romance got exposed, hahahahahahahahaha, I'm dying, hahahahahaha!]

Two hours later, a reply came from the other side:

[I'm the wife. Stop laughing.]

The harder you laugh, the harder it is for me to spread my legs.

Fans: ...?

What goes around comes around. No one escapes the heavens.

Honestly, you might not believe it, but my husband, the kind you only meet once every eight hundred years, is someone's wifey!

My wife, who was this big, pulled out # % * & ~

I got cheated on twice in a single day!

The nation's "husband" versus the nation's "wife." This time, we're doing something different, all about the contrast.

Long-haired seme. Zhu Wen is the seme.

Reader's Notes:

★ One-on-one, happy ending. The setting is the author's personal invention, so don't overthink it!

★ Both are pure, they dote on each other, and they do it before falling in love. Fans of purity should be cautious.

★ The romance is bittersweet but not angsty. No secondary couples, though related plotlines appear. All plot serves the main couple's relationship.

★ It's just a story, so don't take it too seriously. If anyone from a fandom feels offended, I apologize in advance.
