Becoming a Trainee Victim in American Horror [Western Crossover]

[Blurb] No one knew that Diew, who had beaten countless games and earned the achievement “Master Strategist,” sold his soul to a demon so he could play even more thrilling games, signing an unfair contract with the Devil. Whenever night fell and all was quiet, his consciousness would enter a series of horror games, where he became an expendable rookie. Diew had to take the place of the original expendable characters, face and resist vicious, brutal killers, and survive until he was rescued to clear each game. After twenty years living in Gotham, Diew “Immersive Roleplay” Paganim rolled up his sleeves, ready to go. He already had a complete set of survival skills: I’m ready! Round One: The Midnight Hitchhiker [You are a young man with severe social anxiety, currently setting off on a road trip alone.] [On a night of torrential rain, you encounter a handsome man stranded in the downpour.] [You’re not good at talking, but you let him into your car.] [You never expected him to be a merciless serial killer!] [He holds a sharp knife to your throat. What do you do?] Diew: Obviously, I pretend to give in, then turn the tables and escape with the protagonist! So Diew immerses himself in the role of a shy, pretty boy the whole time, gets chased relentlessly by the killer, and is locked up with the protagonist so they can fight each other to the death. The killer is a highly intelligent serial murderer, everywhere and nowhere, and physically powerful. The police will take hours to arrive with backup. Just when Diew thinks he’s about to fail the game, the killer turns himself in because of Diew’s cold treatment. Meanwhile, the half-corrupted protagonist looks at him with admiration and adoration. Diew: ... Round Two: The Gourmet and X Round Three: The Psychiatric Hospital Round Four: Jungle Shadows (a crossover of multiple works) [Your plane crashes in a vast jungle.] [The pilot and flight attendants die horribly. The surviving passengers are murdered one by one. Terrified, you flee the crash site and hide alone at the foot of a mountain.] [Day One: Man #1 brings you food.] [Day Two: Man #1 is dead. Woman #2 brings you food.] [Day Three: Woman #2 is dead. Man #3 arrives.] [...] [You discover in horror that everyone knows about the place you thought was a hiding spot.] [You must find the killer before you become the next victim.] Round Five: [...] The survival game inexplicably turns into a dating game, and Diew is bored: What happened to the horror game?! Diew has an appearance that’s the opposite of who he really is, just like the symbolism of his name: clear and lovely as dew, yet so fragile that the slightest touch could shatter him. In the depths of the night, evil goats bow down before pure sheep. Just as Diew is getting bored out of his mind, a sudden knock sounds at the door. Standing outside are the killers who committed countless atrocities in the games at night. Now they claim to be FBI special agents and criminal consultants, asking him to help with a case. The devils from the dream games have escaped. Only now does Diew realize why he was a rookie victim: Because it’s only now that he’s about to become a real... victim. But it’s all right. This is Gotham. Diew, the recipient of a GCPD Good Citizen Medal, hides his excitement and puts on a fake smile. [A few tips before reading] ★Apologies for any out-of-character moments. The plot is original, and you can read it even if you’re unfamiliar with the source material. ★It might not all be American Horror Story. I’ll write other shows I feel like writing too. This is a self-indulgent kink fic, and it won’t follow the order in the blurb. The timelines of all the works have been changed drastically to serve the plot. Chester has eaten and stored away the bugs and lapses in common sense (please don’t write me a guide on how to write, sob). ★The game mechanics are very light. The protagonist immerses himself in the roles, and the games actually have a futuristic sci-fi setting. ★Everyone loves the protagonist. Pairing undecided (not a psycho). I may write some bonus chapters exploring what-if scenarios for certain characters. ★There’s a lot of mutual murder attempts, so be warned. All characters in the pool of psychos may live or die, and villains will face justice [important].
