[Blurb] [Not a cosplayer, he is the real deal] [I couldn't find inspiration, so I changed the plot. If that bothers you, please feel free to remove it from your favorites.]
After transmigrating, Clark lost his memory. All he remembered was that he was cosplaying the Prime Earth's Superboy-Prime.
Yes, that one: the obscure supervillain who fought the Anti-Monitor one-on-one; smashed through the Source Wall with a single punch in a fit of rage, bringing the second Robin back to life and triggering an interstellar war; destroyed the Justice League Watchtower; slaughtered the Green Lantern Corps; killed Earth-Two Superman during a battle with two Supermen; and ultimately sacrificed his life to protect everyone during Blackest Night, shattering the last 52 universes of the Multiverse...
All those terrifying acts were pinned on the transmigrated Clark. After all, cosplaying as someone meant becoming them for real. In recognition of his sacrifice, and to give him a chance to reform, Clark was treated as a dangerous individual and exiled to this universe's Metropolis, where he was forced to become an ordinary farmer.
His movements were strictly confined to the farm. The moment he stepped onto the property, all his superpowers would disappear. On top of that, he was forbidden from setting foot outside the farm until he achieved a certain farming milestone.
Seventeen-year-old Clark couldn't even go to an ordinary school. He'd already been an online keyboard warrior, and in a fit of anger, he became an internet troll again!
He dragged Superman: “A weak-willed hypocrite!”
He dragged Batman: “A pathetic loser hiding behind a mask!”
He dragged Wonder Woman: “An arrogant Amazon!”
He dragged the Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter... Every superhero and supervillain got flamed to hell and back online. And after finishing his tirade, Clark would obediently attach an advertisement for his farm produce, making people wonder if the whole thing was a marketing strategy.
His posts were hugely popular. To support his business, some supervillains and ordinary people bought his farm produce... As time passed, people began to notice something strange: after being processed, the products seemed to have some sort of beneficial effect.
Under the surface, a storm began to brew.
Superman was assigned to investigate. Once he learned the details, he set out immediately, fully expecting to find a burly roughneck covered in sleeve tattoos. But when he flew to Clark's farm, he came upon a pretty young man with long legs, a slim waist, and a shapely backside.
The beautiful boy was watering the crops. The moment he saw Superman, his face twisted. He shoved a bouquet at him and sullenly told Superman to take it.
He didn't look anything like an internet troll who spewed filth. But the next second, Superman heard him grit his teeth and threaten, “If you keep staring, I'll, ”
Before he could finish, his eyes rolled back and he fainted on the spot.
*
In everyone's eyes, Clark was a sickly, pretty boy. Until one day, he finally left the farm, laughed, and wildly punched a certain supervillain into oblivion, leaving him completely unable to fight back and killing him with one blow.
Everyone: “?”
[Reading Guide]
★ This is not a critique of Superboy-Prime. Contains lots of my own headcanon.
★ It may have a little of everything: sweet, sour, bitter, spicy, and salty. But the overall tone is lighthearted, with a bit of everyone-loving-the-protagonist energy, though both leads are universally adored. Who wouldn't like Clark, right?
★ This was inspired by revisiting Adventures of Superman, so this Superman may have a bit of that version too. It's a real mashup.
Theme: A lone ship sails across the sea. It neither seeks happiness nor runs from it. It simply sails onward, with the calm blue ocean below and the golden sun above.
