When your dorm becomes a game arena, how will you survive?

At eight in the evening, the university dorms were just beginning to come alive for the night.

Suddenly, the lights went out.

Every university in the world was plunged into darkness.

“Ding ding ding, clang clang clang!”

“Dear students, welcome to the [Dormitory Survival Game]. Your happy dorm life starts now!”

Blood poured from the sinks. The space inside the bed curtains became another dimension. Zombies pounded on dorm doors, and countless pairs of eyes peered in from the balconies.

Water shortages, food shortages, extreme environments, life-threatening danger.

“Student Notice: The supreme rules of dormitory survival, ”

“First: The living cannot leave their dorms.”

“Second: Protect your dorm.”

“Third: Protect your roommates.”

“Fourth: Global dormitory survival rankings will be updated every weekend. Do your best to make it into the Double First-Class, 985, or 211 universities, and strive to be a global top-tier dorm!”

When she heard the eerie singing, Tang Xinjue was removing the packaging from some household supplies with a toothbrush hanging from her mouth.

[Congratulations, students! The items in your hands will now become your innate abilities!]

“…”

Tang Xinjue looked at the toilet plunger in her hand and fell silent.

The dorm is my home. Keeping it safe is everyone's job.

Upcoming: Let's Make Sure to Clock In Today Too [Infinite] (see the author's column)

Qing Lian was an utterly ordinary NPC in a horror dungeon. She planned to work quietly until retirement, but then a System bug loaded her identity card as a player's.

That led directly to this:

NPC time clock: Beep. Employee information not found. Clock-in failed. If you have not successfully clocked in before the dungeon ends, you will be considered absent and lose your wages and performance bonus.

Qing Lian: ???

My head can roll, my blood can spill, but my pay can't be docked!

Fortunately, players turned into NPCs after they died, so she tried every way she could think of to get herself killed and become a victim as soon as possible.

But she hadn't counted on the other NPCs and bosses being veteran desk workers too, masters of slacking off who couldn't care less about extra work.

So some players began to notice that something strange had appeared in their perilous dungeons:

A young female ghost shrieked, “You played with my feelings! I'll make you pay with your lives, ”

Qing Lian: I'm the scumbag who hurt you! Look at me!

The female ghost ignored her and drifted off to hunt the others.

The others: ?

A ghost child climbed out of a black coffin. “Mommy doesn't want me anymore! I want to find Mommy, ”

Qing Lian: That's right, I'm your mom! I even brought your crib!

The ghost child neatly went around her and started crying after the others.

The others: ??

In a gloomy old house, an old man closed his eyes and smiled. “Run. Anyone I look at will die, ”

Qing Lian stood right in front of him. “I'm ready. Open your eyes!”

The next second, the old man's head turned 180 degrees. “Well, at least you all ran fast enough…”

The others: ???

Where's the terror of your horror dungeons? The rules? The atmosphere?
