Welcome to Happy Island [Infinite]

Qing Lian took a promotional job at a tourist attraction to get proof of her internship.

When she dragged her suitcase onto a boat and arrived at the "tourist attraction," she discovered it was nothing but an undeveloped wasteland.

Not even a blade of grass grew there.

To keep her internship certificate, Qing Lian had no choice but to take matters into her own hands and develop the attraction herself.

After a few strikes with her hammer, a charred corpse emerged from underground.

Qing Lian wrote in the promotional copy: "Natural scenery and cultural heritage blend together as one."

The corpse began to writhe and crawl, then grabbed her by the throat with a chilling grin.

Qing Lian added to her notes: "The locals are warm and hospitable, and the customs are unique and fascinating."

Later, Qing Lian hung the corpse at the entrance to the attraction, where it danced in the wind as a free doorman.

The corpse thought it was the most miserable thing in this place.

Until it discovered that vengeful spirits, werewolves, aliens, indescribable beings... were being strung up beside it one after another.

Qing Lian leaned on her land-clearing tool, wiped away her hard-earned sweat, and sighed:

"Everyone looks so happy swaying in the breeze. From now on, let's call this place Happy Island."

The second book in the "Work Hard to Clock In Today Too" series.

Another lighthearted, feel-good story with a strong female lead.

The story takes place earlier in the timeline. You can read it without having read the previous book.
