Qin Yi's parents divorced. Her father rented out the family home and paid her living expenses. Apart from sending money each month, he never cared for her.

One day after school, several early-differentiating Alphas cornered and bullied her in a park. That's when she met Chu Ci, who was dancing in a square-dancing group.

To stay at Chu Ci's home, Qin Yi hid the fact that she had differentiated as an Alpha.

Chu Ci wasn't sensitive to pheromones, so she should have been a Beta.

But in her bedside table, Qin Yi found a large supply of synthetic Alpha pheromones.

That was when Qin Yi discovered an "Assessment Report for Second Gender Identity Disorder."

Theme: No matter what kind of environment you grow up in, be someone who looks toward the light.
