Secret Love

Jiang Han's friend died of cancer, leaving behind a daughter who was still a minor. Seeing Su Jin sitting in the corner, Jiang Han's heart softened. "Come with me, kid."

Jiang Han was "busy," in every sense of the word. Su Jin was mostly left to her own devices. One day, peeking through a crack in the door, Su Jin saw Jiang Han kissing a woman and was utterly shocked.

Thinking Jiang Han didn't want her anymore, Su Jin ran to cry in front of Su Yun's grave. From then on, Jiang Han gave up her romantic escapades and spent every day in the chaos of raising a child.

On the day Su Jin had to submit her university preferences, Jiang Han pointed at Hainan Island. "Go there! They just introduced a new talent recruitment program, so it'll be easier to get residency."

More importantly, it was far from home.

Su Jin saw right through Jiang Han's little scheme. "So you can bring other women home?"
