The Beauty of the Western Regions Only Wants to Restore Her Kingdom

Blurb:

In the second year after Emperor Huizong's death, Empress Dowager Zheng declared that she would rule from behind the scenes, citing the emperor's young age. Members of the imperial clan began plotting. Shen Zheng, son of Prince Yong, wanted to join forces with Princess Anding to put his father on the throne.

At a banquet, Princess Anding's eyes were clouded with drink. With a scornful smile, she saw through the supposedly mysterious and ever-changing dance on the spot.

The dagger used to carve roast venison slashed through the exquisite screen before everyone's eyes. The sound of tearing silk echoed through the hall. As the screen split into pieces, an unparalleled beauty hidden behind it appeared before them.

A natural disaster destroyed the kingdom of Loulan, and the young son and daughter of its king vanished amid the chaos of war. Taken in and sold by merchants, they eventually made their way to Chang'an.

To restore her kingdom, the Princess of Loulan decided to find a powerful patron in Chang'an. It could be a prince's heir, or a powerful minister from a noble family, but it would never be that lascivious princess who reveled in wine and women.

"Restoring a kingdom is a trivial matter. I'll help you."

If she hadn't said it while drunk, the Princess of Loulan might have believed her.
