Nightmare Therapist

Enrollment is open at the Nightmare Therapist Training School!~ Students who have received an invitation, please take the entrance exam on time. Latecomers will not be admitted.

The admissions director, who couldn't be bothered to do much, looked at the huge crowd packed into the plaza with open disdain. "Why are so many people here this year? Do they think this is a top-rated tourist attraction? What a hassle!"

Students must pass three exams, testing courage, physical fitness, and intelligence. But this year was an exception. The admissions director thought there were too many people and decided to hold all three exams at once.

The proctors: There goes our workload, getting even bigger!

The school is centered around a central plaza and surrounded by mountains on all four sides. It is divided into four gates.

The North Gate teaches spellcraft. The West Gate teaches formations.

The South Gate teaches the Way. The East Gate teaches artifact crafting.

The South Gate, which had never managed to recruit any students, finally got the long-awaited newcomer. Other gates had one teacher looking after several kids. At the South Gate, the entire faculty focused on raising their one precious seedling.

Then, during the hundred-day showcase, that precious seedling was beaten to a pulp by fellow disciples. In the end, a teacher had to step in and save the day just to keep the kid alive.

The half-dead lone seedling: Cultivating virtue, drinking tea, and comprehending the Way... turns out none of it works.
