Stabbed on My Wedding Day

Blurb:

Tang Yiyang has the ambition to unite the realm, yet she cannot stop thinking about Zhao Shule, the princess of a neighboring kingdom. She sends a vast army to the border and forces the ruler of Xia to agree to a marriage alliance. By the time the wedding procession reaches Luoyang, the two kingdoms are already at war.

To make Zhao Shule submit, Tang Yiyang plays a game of cat and mouse. She orders her army to take one city each month, continuing until they seize Xia's capital. On the day Xia falls, Zhao Shule sets herself on fire on the Moon Terrace Tang Yiyang built for her, dying with her kingdom.

The fire burns for a day and a night. Gazing at the ruins of the Moon Terrace, Tang Yiyang is consumed by regret. Reborn, she resolves to make amends and give Zhao Shule a happy life.

This time, Tang Yiyang joyfully welcomes her princess, only to watch Zhao Shule pull a dagger from her sleeve and stab her in the chest. The hatred in Zhao Shule's eyes is exactly the same as it was in her previous life.

Could it be... you were reborn too?

Zhao Shule, who had died in the fire on the Moon Terrace, wakes to find herself in Lucheng. Her royal brother summons her urgently to the palace. The Zhou army is at the border, and they have named her as the one they want for a marriage alliance.

The events of the past are happening all over again. It turns out she has been reborn.

This time, she won't let Tang Yiyang manipulate her!

"If there is a royal funeral, Your Majesty, send the army at once!"

On the day of the wedding procession, Tang Yiyang acts strangely. Zhao Shule has no time to think it over and plunges the dagger hidden in her sleeve into Tang Yiyang's chest. But Tang Yiyang survives, and asks the one question that makes Zhao Shule want to die.

"You were reborn too?"

In the middle of the night, Zhao Shule even gets up just to ask: No, seriously, why did she get to be reborn?
