The Strongest Ones' Quiet Romance

[Please bookmark the Gojo/Geto fanfic *Will the Cursed Spirit Manipulator Dream of a White-Haired Cursed Spirit?* on my page!] Gojo was reborn inside the Prison Realm. When he woke, he discovered he had returned to the time when the first-years had just started school. Gojo decided to kill Brain right away, overthrow the higher-ups of the jujutsu world, find a way to bring his best friend back to life, and get himself a perfect happy ending. He charged into the office where the higher-ups were gathered, but before he could start anything, he was told that there was an unaffiliated sorcerer he needed to meet. It would be even better if he could bring them into the jujutsu world. Gojo stared at the photo of a woman with her hair tied up in a bun and black earrings, and his brain promptly short-circuited. His best friend had become a woman and had never even attended Jujutsu High?! - Shortly before Geto was supposed to start at Jujutsu High, her parents died in an accident. Before they passed, they had strongly objected to their daughter going alone to a religious school like Jujutsu High, which obviously seemed completely unreliable. After their deaths, Geto inherited the shop they had left behind and never went to Jujutsu High. Geto graduated from Teitan High School, got into the prestigious University of Tokyo, then returned to her alma mater and became a teacher at Teitan High. On top of that, she had a natural talent for sorcery. In her spare time, she exorcised cursed spirits and worked with Inspector Megure, whom she knew very well, handling paranormal cases around Beika. This was exactly why the higher-ups of the jujutsu world wanted to recruit her. Those jobs were originally handled through cooperation between the jujutsu world and the local police, but Geto had somehow taken them over. To save face, the higher-ups decided to bring her in. Geto was powerful, and ordinary sorcerers couldn't handle her, so the higher-ups could only send Gojo to try. What the higher-ups didn't realize was that Gojo and Geto were already on the same side. - By the time Gojo and Geto were spending all their time together, had officially become a couple, and were regularly giving the higher-ups a husband-and-wife beatdown, the higher-ups bitterly regretted everything. Only the Gojo clan was delighted. Once the two confirmed their relationship, they asked Gojo every day when he planned to get married and have children. - The first-years had been waiting at the mission site for half an hour. They looked at one another in silent exasperation. Fushiguro: He's bailed on us again, hasn't he, Gojo-sensei... Kugisaki: I'm calling Geto-sensei right now. Itadori: Maybe don't, Kugisaki. What if they're on a date? Kugisaki: That's exactly why we should interrupt him! Why are we out here doing a mission while he's on a date?! ◤Reader Advisory◢ 1. Geto is gender-swapped, and the pairing is Gojo/Geto. Please avoid this if you can't accept the gender swap. 2. This is an AU where Geto never attended Jujutsu High and Gojo is reborn. The story has no logic and features major OOC characterization. 3. It probably won't be long. I mainly want to write something sweet, with a slice-of-life feel. 4. Updates currently follow the rankings. Unlimited paragraph comments are enabled. Theme: Don't wait until you lose something to regret it. Do your best in the present.
