My Frail, Helpless, Pitiful Wife [Insectoid]

The demonic cultivator Rong Mo failed his tribulation and died, only to transmigrate into the insect race. At the brink of death, a female insect found him and took him home. Driven by the instinct to survive, Rong Mo made a mutual life-and-death pact with her while half-conscious. Life-and-death pacts are usually one-sided. Mutual ones are exceedingly rare, and are generally only made between partners. Rong Mo had never had a partner before, nor had he ever considered finding one. Being forced into a partner pact like this was undoubtedly his mistake. With no other choice, he kept the matter to himself, hoping he might find some other opportunity to repay his lifesaver in the future. Rong Mo's lifesaver was a disabled female insect whose left cheek was covered in scars. She scraped by on a barren planet, scavenging for trash and relying on what little strength she had. She treated him well: in her dilapidated little house, she used nearly every usable item she owned to care for him. She went to great lengths to save the gravely injured Rong Mo, even exhausting herself until an old injury flared up again, all because Rong Mo was a male insect. Rong Mo had never been entirely comfortable with their accidental partner pact. But as time passed, he realized that the female insect was so wonderful that he couldn't stop his heart from stirring. - Di Xiu was the youngest major general in the history of the insect race. He had earned countless military honors since joining the army and was revered as a god of war. At the height of his fame, he was accused of murdering a male insect. Despite his distinguished service, all he managed to save was his life. Barely breathing, he was dumped on a barren planet to fend for himself. Di Xiu had managed to survive there despite half his face being ruined. Then one evening, he found a male insect on the verge of death. His own life was hardly easy, but he couldn't bear to watch a male insect die right in front of him. Di Xiu took the male insect back to his ramshackle hut and did everything he could to treat him. - Rong Mo: My frail, helpless, pitiful little wife hasn't even healed from her injuries, yet she keeps thinking about how to give me a better life. I need to find a way to take care of her. Di Xiu: This delicate, pitiful male insect has a head injury, amnesia, and the knowledge of a hatchling. I need to find a way to take care of him.
