Does the Cursed Spirit Manipulator Dream of White-Haired Cursed Spirits?

The divine child of the Gojo clan died at the age of eight. The cause was unknown. Everyone said the child had been frail from birth, and surviving to the age of eight was already a miracle. When he was born, his soul had been so weak that he had nearly died on the spot. Some were glad, others grieved. The Gojo clan was shrouded in gloom, while the other two of the Big Three families were in good spirits. The strange thing was that the rate and strength of cursed spirit appearances, which had risen when the Six Eyes child was born, showed no sign of dropping. Without the Six Eyes child, every jujutsu sorcerer was working themselves to the bone. Gradually, people began bringing it up, sometimes intentionally and sometimes not. "If only the Six Eyes hadn't died." A curse slowly took shape, unseen. - On his way home, seven-year-old Suguru was stopped at his own front door by a monster covered in eyes. The boy gripped the straps of his backpack and stared fixedly at the monster before him, tears welling in his eyes. He didn't dare make a move. He could only stand there, less than a meter from his front door. Just as he was about to do what he had done every time before, shut his eyes and charge forward, someone casually exorcised the monster in front of him. A huge bone claw stretched across Suguru's path. A loose white kimono moved without a breeze. The white-haired man had white bandages wrapped around his eyes, their ends swaying behind his head. A bell hung from the wrist of his one uninjured hand, and a string of pale purple markings circled his ankle. The sight of this even more outlandish "monster" made Suguru drop to the ground in fright. The "monster" silently came closer and tapped his head with its uninjured hand. - After that, Suguru had a shikigami. His shikigami only responded to one word: the one engraved on the bell hanging from its wrist, "Satoru." Suguru tentatively named his shikigami Satoru. With Satoru around, Suguru was no longer afraid of the monsters he saw everywhere. Satoru was much stronger than them! - Suguru realized that as he grew older and collected more shikigami, Satoru seemed to become more human. After Suguru was personally invited to enroll at Jujutsu High, Satoru began appearing of his own accord more and more often. Then, after the Star Plasma Vessel mission was assigned, Satoru went berserk for the first time. When faced with the one who bore the Heavenly Restriction, his Satoru finally became something comparable to a human. He could talk, act affectionate toward Suguru, and cling to him, pleading for a hug... After the Star Plasma Vessel incident, the Gojo clan came to see Suguru. He was told that his shikigami Satoru was the Six Eyes child from the Gojo clan who had died years ago. The Gojo clan demanded that Suguru return Satoru to them. Suguru refused. He wouldn't allow anyone to treat Satoru like a tool, and he wasn't willing to send away the Satoru who had been by his side for so many years. Satoru was his shikigami, and could only ever be his shikigami. That was the binding vow Geto and Satoru had made from the very beginning. ◤Reading Notes◢ 1. Gojo/Geto, cursed spirit Gojo x high school Geto. OOC and logic-free story warnings. 2. In a sense, Gojo is reborn. Before dying in the original story, Gojo cursed himself. After death, he ended up in the body of little Gojo. Because he was so young, and the adult Gojo in cursed spirit form was incompatible with the child Gojo who was still human, he only appeared in cursed spirit form after little Gojo died at the age of eight. 3. Gojo is a cursed spirit in the early part of the story and only returns to normal later, so his appearance is late in an unconventional sense (?). 4. There is no romance when they're children. It only starts when they're older, so please think carefully before reading if that bothers you. Theme: Face adversity with a positive attitude and strive to become a better version of yourself.
