Ranpo, Don't Get in the Way of My Wedding

Yuan Shinnosuke (Minamoto Shinnosuke), male, age unknown. Special ability: Shield of Zeus, capable of blocking all damage, even the erosion of time. Danger level: SSS What meaning does life have, really? Yuan often asks himself. In search of life’s meaning, Yuan takes a friend’s advice and visits a famous detective who has lived in seclusion for many years. He doesn’t get a clear answer, but he does come away with a certain “reward.” The “reward” himself: “Great Detective Ranpo wants a rubber duck that can squirt water, steaming-hot snacks, and a bedtime story!” Yuan turns around and finds Fukuzawa, his junior who is preparing to open a detective agency. “I’m leaving him with you.” Fukuzawa furrows his brows. “...” After leaving the child in his junior’s care, Yuan continues his journey. He works as a bodyguard for a doctor in black, becomes neighbors with a famous novelist, teaches at a police academy full of talented students, and takes a job at a dark liquor company. After wandering all over for decades, he finally realizes: Of course life is only fun if you get married! And so, Yuan sets out on a journey to find his other half. The famous detective rushes over when he hears the news. “What?! Shinnosuke is getting married! I, the great detective, refuse to allow it!” [*Pairing with the world’s greatest detective, Ranpo. A sweet little story about healing each other. Important: the protagonist is the top! *Not completely faithful to canon. Original settings, and out-of-character behavior! *The romance develops slowly.] [Recommendation time~ A cute friend’s story: “My Husband Is Actually Working for the Armed Detective Agency” by Yan He. My next upcoming story: “[Crossover] Making a Living in the Port Mafia,” paired with the Hat Rack. Visit my author page to see it~] Theme: Marriage is the best!
