His Roommate Has No Idea What He Does When He's Drunk

[The author's note for Extra Chapter 14 includes a free 5,000-word extra about Xiao Chen coming down with a fever~] [The author's note in the final chapter has a new free extra~ -- Posted 2022.3.17] [My next novel will be the upcoming work "He's Scared, Or So He Pretends." The blurb is at the bottom~] Chen Mingchen has a rather serious problem lately: his roommate, who seems like he doesn't particularly like him, kissed him after getting drunk. But it was only a brief kiss, and his roommate clearly didn't remember a thing the next morning, so Chen Mingchen decided to pretend it never happened. Who would have thought that a few days later, the four roommates would go on a trip before graduation, and his roommate would get drunk and kiss him again, this time not stopping at a brief peck? After that, the bed with blackout curtains, the desk beneath it late at night while the other roommates were asleep, and the steamy bathroom when the others were calling from the door for them to hurry up all became places where that roommate who supposedly disliked him would pin him down and drunkenly act out. And that would be one thing, except every time he sobered up, he would act like nothing had happened. At first, Chen Mingchen was baffled. He even wondered if Yun Ye behaved like this with everyone when he was drunk. But over time, he began to realize that his roommate, who seemed to dislike him, might actually be in love with him. -- Yun Ye thinks Chen Mingchen has been acting a little strange lately. It isn't a particularly obvious change. If he had to put it into words, Chen Mingchen seems to pay more attention to him. Sometimes he brings him breakfast and saves him a seat, and in their everyday interactions, there seems to be more unnecessary physical contact. Yun Ye doesn't know why this is happening. He thinks it over very carefully and is sure he has always hidden his secret crush well. There is nothing that could give him away. Until one day, he opens his eyes and realizes he is sitting on the bathroom sink in their dorm. The dorm supervisor's voice echoes from outside, asking Chen Mingchen why he's taking so long in the shower. In front of him, Chen Mingchen is standing between his knees, one hand resting on his waist with practiced familiarity and affection. Chen Mingchen lowers his head slightly. The instant their eyes meet, a smile spreads across his handsome face. He gently brushes a thumb over Yun Ye's cheek and asks with a smile, "Sober now?" Dorm-life story, secret-crush story, one-sided feelings become mutual. The title is the core of the story. It's the kind of four-person dorm room with a private bathroom, loft beds with desks underneath, and blackout curtains on every bed, so they can hide things from their roommates. A cool, sharp-tongued beauty who says one thing but does another, the pursued one (Yun Ye) vs. a seemingly gentle and easygoing but actually cold and indifferent pursuer (Chen Mingchen) A short-to-medium-length sweet story, with both experiencing their first love. Theme: The world is unpredictable. Sometimes, finding the courage to move on from the past and face the future with an open mind can bring unexpected surprises.
