What's Wrong with Kissing Your Bro?

At the after-party following their high school graduation banquet, someone teased Lin Zhushui.

“You and Ke Boning are both handsome guys. Neither of you dated anyone in all three years of high school, and you were glued to each other every day. Are you two going to get together or what?”

After a few drinks at the banquet, Lin Zhushui burst out laughing. “Me? You mean me and Ke Boning?”

He put an arm around Ke Boning, who was lounging on the sofa in the karaoke room, and declared, a little tipsy, “We're so straight that we could kiss right here today and still not be into guys.”

So, while their classmates chanted, “Kiss! Kiss!”, the two of them planted a proper kiss on each other.

Afterward, they calmly parted, calmly joked around with their classmates, calmly went home together after the after-party, calmly returned to the two houses facing each other on the same alley, and calmly walked through their front doors... only to sober up at the exact same time, anything but calm.

They had only one thought on their minds: His lips are so soft.

After that night, their relationship didn't really change.

And yet...

We're bros, so what's wrong with kissing?

We're bros, so what's wrong with a little touching?

We're bros, so what's wrong with helping each other out?

We're bros, so what's wrong with... doing it?

A short story of around 100,000 words about two clueless guys falling in love. A brainless, sweet little confection, and both are each other's first love.
