Ye Xing never expected that someone who barely played games would apply for a job at a game company after graduating. Even less did he expect to become a real-life NPC in a game.
His major had nothing to do with games, and the company provided no training. They hadn't even prepared any lines for him.
With no other choice, Ye Xing had to play multiple roles in the game.
The problem was that his painfully awkward acting was hard to improve.
I found an interesting NPC in a game [Hot Thread]
What he didn't expect was that his efforts to play every character would end up making the whole game a hit.
First NPC: An Omega who had their glands removed (a member of an Omega rights organization and a receptionist at an unlicensed medical clinic).
Though he's just a receptionist at a medical clinic, he's forced to become a "life mentor," counseling young Omegas about relationships. Ye Xing has only just graduated, yet he has to advise young Omegas who chose to mutilate their bodies by having their glands removed because of pressure to marry. It's no easy task. Since they've already started calling him "teacher," he has no choice but to make a house call.
Second NPC: A priest who adopts a little vampire (he finds an injured child and raises him, only to discover that the boy has become the leader of the vampires).
The priest secretly raises a little vampire in the church. The poor kid is hunted by vampire hunters, wanted by the Order of Holy Knights, and thrown out by his own people over an inheritance dispute. Ye Xing has no choice but to train him to fly. If he can't win a fight, he should at least know how to run away. Who could have known that the child would inherit the title and become the leader of the vampires?
Third NPC: An old traditional doctor researching a cure for zombies (he arrives to help after a problem with the lab's medicine. The zombie tide is about to break out, so time is of the essence).
How did a brilliant young researcher end up with such a useless assistant? An experiment to develop a cure has produced the hardest virus to treat. Ye Xing slings his medicine bag over his shoulder and goes from street to street. Even when zombies arrive, he doesn't panic. Treatment comes first, and in his eyes, no illness is incurable.

---New story now available---
A no-CP, shou-centered cultivation story about transmigrating into a book, Mistaken by the Entire Cultivation World for the Protagonist:
Five years after Miu Qian (qian) bonded with the System, he finally reaches an important plot point.
Ever since transmigrating into an unconventional novel as a cannon-fodder character destined for a face-slapping scene, he's rehearsed this moment countless times. To nail the classic scene where "the former prodigy falls from grace and is publicly dumped by his fiancee," he had the System find clips from all kinds of works for him to practice.
But instead of mocking him, the people present treat him with the utmost respect, as if he were some incredible big shot.
What a mystery. This character really does leave the story after this face-slapping scene, and the one getting humiliated isn't someone else. It's him, the one whose engagement has been called off.
Only then does the System tell him that this world is already mostly full of transmigrators and awakened people. But Miu Qian is the only one who knows the original story from beginning to end.
"So they think I'm the protagonist of one of those 'thirty years east of the river, thirty years west of the river' stories, the one whose engagement gets canceled?" Miu Qian never expected that after they transmigrated into an unconventional novel, they'd assume the plot followed all the usual conventions.
From then on, everyone seems to think Miu Qian is the true protagonist of this world, a classic underdog who hides his strength and rises through the ranks. They interpret all his seemingly frivolous eating, drinking, and having fun with an astonishing degree of sophistication.
What they don't know is that while they're using their limited mind-reading golden fingers to read Miu Qian's thoughts and "glimpse the world's true nature and what comes next," their own thoughts are being laid bare before him.
They're both mind-reading abilities, but there's a huge difference between an ordinary golden finger and one provided by the System.
And so Miu Qian and the System watch as everyone around them wildly misinterprets things.
Gong's perspective:
Jie Me Mang discovers that something has been strange in the cultivation world lately. How has a boy who's been stuck at the Qi Refining stage become someone all the major sects are eager to court?
No way. He has to go see for himself, or he might end up being outdone.
Jie Me Mang has been a competitive overachiever since childhood. With the intention of "scouting the competition," he transforms into his original beast form and approaches Miu Qian.
The "overpowered protagonist" stares at the enormous, fluffy, long-haired dog with a puzzled expression.
Jie Me Mang also learns a secret that could make the entire cultivation world "explode": the System.
But he doesn't understand how earth-shattering the System's existence is. He's a native who's fallen behind the times, neither awakened nor transmigrated.
Jie Me Mang, times have changed.
However, under his threats and bribes, the System drops its professional ethics and binds a second Host, tears in its eyes.
"Overpowered protagonist," huh? He's going to show the whole world that he, Jie Me Mang, will be the first to ascend in this generation!

Every day, adventuring parties head into the dungeon. Some come back with rich spoils, while others meet their end there.
But whatever the outcome, before entering the dungeon, every party packs their gear and sets off full of confidence.
The supplies they need for the journey, the weapons and armor they use to fight monsters, and even their magic don't just fall from the sky.
So, before heading into the dungeon, are you sure you don't want to pick up some good supplies at the little shop by the entrance?
Ah, your adventuring day is over. You can sell the spoils you brought back here, too.
Mm-hmm, the adventurers have all gone home... You think the shop is closing for the night?
Of course not. The monsters are just coming up to restock and repair the floor tiles and treasure chests.

Refuse to fall in love, start from the beginning
Me too, I don't leave the bedroom when I'm angry
After all, bosses and young masters usually have omnipotent assistants or secretaries (bushi) who can understand their eyes.
It's too bad, is Al here?
Help, I thought of a game I saw at that time: Your Highness the Horse Prince. How about the painting style?
Good news: it's a holiday Bad news: I forgot where I saw it, haha
It's not that I don't want to read it, but it's true that once the novel comes to an end, I suddenly don't want to continue reading it. I will definitely watch it, but not now. I will watch it after I finish the exam.
It's great. It's finished.
The character responsible for crying hahahahahaha, Xiao Ouhahahahahaha
