As long as his SAN is high enough, Zong Yan can become all kinds of beings: Superhumans, ancient gods, Great Old Ones, even... Outer Gods. Soaring above the skyline of the Demon Capital, he is the son of the wind, flying free. Wandering through London’s rainy, misty streets, he is the elusive Night Watchman. Striding through New York’s glittering, decadent nightlife, he is the sun god who wields the light. Diving into the geometrical city of R’lyeh, he is the indescribable king. Traversing the dazzling, multicolored Dreamlands, he is the primordial faith of the universe. He goes to bed early, wakes up early, and studies hard. Then he works overtime and stays up late to save the world. By day, he’s a senior at Qingyang High School. By night, he’s the honorary top student at Miskatonic University. During summer and winter breaks, he travels the world to investigate anomalous events, matching wits with evil gods and giving his all to preserve the peace and save a world on the brink of collapse. A heads-up: This story is full of chuunibyou elements and incorporates Lovecraftian settings. It isn’t scary or bleak, more like the Japanese light novel Haiyore!
