Jin Shu lost his police ID on a stormy night. Later, for some inexplicable reason, he became a serial killer who struck fear into the entire nation.

The national criminal investigation bureau scrambled to find the real culprit and clear Jin Shu's name, but the criminal was too clever and left not a single trace.

Just as everyone was at their wits' end, a new team leader was parachuted into the major crimes unit from police headquarters. Facing Jin Shu's kind eyes, he said coldly,

"Come clean. What was going through your mind while you committed the murders?"

Everyone was horrified. Only Jin Shu had a sudden epiphany.
