Sherlock Holmes's Everyday Romance

Sherlock stepped forward, passed through the crowd, and went straight to Song Keke.

He shielded her from the jeers of the onlookers and said calmly, "This young lady did not sneak in to cause trouble. She is my companion and my assistant in the investigation. The question she raised reflects my own doubts about this case. I hope the gentlemen and ladies here won't judge someone who is only trying to find the truth so carelessly."

The moment Sherlock stood between her and all the scolding, Song Keke suddenly thought his back looked so broad and his shoulders so strong.

So broad that, if she wanted, she could hide behind him completely and never have to face the darkness of the world.

So broad that, if he wanted, he could protect any woman as he pleased.
