When the frail and sickly Lin Daiyu steps out of the classic novel Dream of the Red Chamber and into the real world because of a wish made by a girl with the same name,

she becomes elementary school student Lin Daiyu and is forced to start a life in the modern world.

Little Daiyu's parents also arrange for her to learn a new skill: figure skating.

At first, she only takes lessons because Little Daiyu's mother encourages her, and she doesn't want the tuition money to go to waste.
