[Sherlock Holmes] The Landlady

Just like the title says, this story goes off the rails in all sorts of ways. I'll try to stay true to the source, and would be grateful for any corrections. If you're a serious scholar of historical details, please look elsewhere. Thanks. One special note: I didn't pay much attention to certain details while writing. I'm not an expert on British etiquette, and I've forgotten most of what I learned in history class. If you want to nitpick about those things, all I can do is laugh it off. To put it plainly, this is just a bit of nonsense. If you're the sort to take it that seriously, you'll be uncomfortable reading it, and I'll feel awful reading your comments. For both our sakes, please click the red X in the upper-right corner. I beg you. Based on the original. The male lead is Sherlock Holmes; Watson is not the second male lead. This is a slow-burn story, an extremely slow one. The female lead is a landlady. She knows who Sherlock Holmes is, but doesn't know anything about the original stories' plots. In short, this is a story about a landlady and her tenant. I won't abandon this story before it's finished! (Fist pump) Announcement, announcement: This story is going VIP on Thursday this week, June 7. I'll post three chapters that day. Because the stats aren't high enough, the two existing chapters will also be moved behind the paywall, so if you want to download them, do it in the next couple of days... I know going VIP will cost me some readers, but I still hope you'll support me. Whether or not you decide to stay, I'm very grateful to you all! Girls, girls~ My stats are high enough now, so I won't have to move the old chapters behind the paywall after all. I'm really sorry~ The VIP chapters will start with a new chapter. I'll go change it back...?????? June 7 What's wrong with the cover... Cover, don't crash, sob sob sob~ Cover, wake up! Don't act up along with JJ! QAQ JJ has been really unstable lately. I wonder if you girls have noticed... The little loading flower spins forever in the admin panel and nothing loads. Sometimes I reply, refresh the page, and the reply is gone. Sometimes the comments disappear too... I reply to every comment I see, so if any of you find that your comment has been deleted, I swear it wasn't me! Theme:
