[The King's Avatar] Pacing Back and Forth

Xunxun: commonly defined as hesitating and retreating out of apprehension. It can also refer to an extremely brief moment.

So the first meaning vividly describes your behavior, while the second perfectly captures the instant I fell for you. In essence, we're headed in the same direction.

[You'll have to win another championship first. By then, it'll be too late...]

[What? You have so little faith in me, bro?]

[No, it's not... It's not you I doubt. It's myself...]

[I'm afraid I won't have the courage by then... No, I'm afraid tonight is my only chance. Once tonight is over, I may never have the courage to say those words...]

"We simply lost our way in the maze of love, "

Reader's Guide:

1. A fanfic of The King's Avatar, featuring an original female lead paired with Ye Xiu. Happy 0529 birthday, Ye Xiu! I hope you'll accept this birthday gift, even though I don't have the nerve to call it one. QAQ

2. I really did rush from the initial idea to writing to finishing this. I've been busy with work and haven't written in ages, so this birthday fic ended up with almost no research, writing that's long gone to the dogs, and logic (?) that went off to Happy Town. The characters are basically all out of character, so please go easy on me. Just read it for a laugh...

3. I'm tackling The King's Avatar for the first time and chose hard mode. The story barely mentions the game and focuses on the romance instead, and the plot is pretty clichéd and ordinary. If anyone can enjoy a story like this, look forward to me pairing the heroine with the entire league [That's not happening!]
