Be My Scabbard

While on the run from home, Duan Zheng met a sword cultivator.

The sword cultivator's eyes curved as he grinned at her, baring his gleaming white teeth. "Little monster, your fur looks lovely. How would you like to let me skin you and make a scabbard?"

Duan Zheng hugged her huge tail and trembled.

The sword cultivator cheerfully carried the little monster off. He fattened her up while fighting cultivators, ghost cultivators, and demon cultivators, then swept across the world before hugging the little monster and smothering her with kisses.

Duan Zheng: Weren't you going to make me into a scabbard? What are you doing?

The sword cultivator said nothing. He bundled up the little monster and carried her home.

1. The male lead is a fake sword cultivator and a real sorcerer. While his body and soul were separated, he forgot how to use sorcery.

2. The female lead's personality changes as she gains more experience. At first, she's a foolish kid who keeps trying to get herself killed.

3. These two have ridiculously powerful cheat abilities.

4. The author hasn't read much and doesn't know how to judge whether something is melodramatic. But judging by instinct, this story should have some melodrama. My new danmei story, "Hold Tight to My Little House," is now underway. Come check it out!

Theme: Keep going through adversity, and the dawn will eventually come.
