This Dragon Is Fierce, but So Adorable!

The Squirrel Clan accidentally dug a black egg with mysterious markings out of an ancient cavern.

The animals were convinced it held a powerful, ferocious prehistoric creature that would lead the forest to an unprecedented revival!

At last, one day, a fine crack appeared on the eggshell.

Under countless expectant gazes, the black egg cracked open with a snap. A strange, dripping-wet creature struggled to poke out its little head, then gave all it had to let out its first roar

“Biu~”

The animals: ???

It took everyone three days to accept the reality that the black egg had hatched a little cutie.

The tiny cub curled up for a nap in a fox's fluffy tail, ate wild fruit still wet with the first dewdrop of morning, and rode on the back of a lion-tiger beast to explore the mountains and forests.

Nightingales sang it lullabies every night, kingfishers brought it beautiful feathers to build its nest, and even the fiercest, craftiest jackal was happy to lower its head and let the cub tug on the fur at its neck.

Until one day, the cub ate so much that it burped, and a blast of lightning shot from its mouth, striking the Holy Temple of Light a thousand miles away.

The cub tried to fly, its wings whipping up a storm so fierce it nearly toppled the elves' World Tree next door.

The cub copied a brown bear rubbing its back against a tree. The violent shaking triggered an earthquake that spread across the entire continent.

The cub: ovo?

The animals: oДo?

What in the world had they hatched???
