While Harry counted down the days until he turned eighteen, someone showed up on his eleventh birthday with a letter of admission and told him he could be a little more extraordinary, and that he was actually English through and through. That day, fate gave him a mocking smile, as if loudly jeering at him and everyone involved: “Who says a mutant can’t be a wizard?” “Do you know you’re a rare species, Harry?” “Don’t talk nonsense. I’m just an ordinary, everyday superhero!” “Merlin, who’s talking nonsense here? Other than the fact that you like men, you’re one of the rarest superheroes in every sense of the word. Absolutely!” “Then do you love me, Draco?” “Obviously! What does you being rare have to do with the fact that I’m madly in love with you?” Draco caught his boyfriend as he blinked and grinned, then planted a kiss on him. 1. Harry really is a mutant! His power is “Mimicry”: he can copy and use another person’s ability when nearby or when he has an item that person carries. For similar powers, look up “Copycat” or “Rogue.” 2. Couples: EC, DH (with a little VH), Wolfstar, Cherik, Fire and Ice, Angel and Nightcrawler, and the past relationships JP/SS and SB/SS. 3. This is my first time writing in a Western style, so I can’t promise there won’t be OOC moments. I’ll do my best to avoid them. 5. There will be time travel, you know how it goes. The story starts after Days of Future Past and before Apocalypse. Nina’s mother has already passed away, and the Professor still has gorgeous hair.
