[Western Crossover] I'm Really Just an Ordinary Reporter!

Clark Kent, an utterly ordinary Metropolis reporter.

He tragically died in the battle against Doomsday, then mysteriously came back to life two months later, having lost every memory of his other "part-time job."

One day, when he was invited to become the Justice League's chairman, Clark stared blankly. "I'm just an ordinary reporter."

Lois: "Maybe, if an ordinary reporter could file twenty stories in a day."

Steve: "Maybe, if an ordinary reporter could take down a super-soldier."

The Flash: "Maybe, if an ordinary reporter could run faster than my superpowers."

Iron Man: "Maybe, if an ordinary reporter could catch a missile with his bare hands."

Clark swallowed hard and said innocently, "But I really am just an ordinary reporter!"

A wealthy man from Gotham couldn't stand it anymore. He reached over and removed those distracting black-rimmed glasses, revealing a pair of heartbreakingly beautiful blue eyes.

Bruce: "Maybe, if an ordinary reporter had a pair of eyes that captivating."

The true, bright-as-the-sun, super-strong, invulnerable, kind-hearted, tragically young, patriotic, dearly departed, long-lamented, moonlight-level superhero from Krypton, aka Superman, smiled faintly. "Oh, sorry," he said. "Who was speaking just now?"

*Superman's identity is not revealed. To be clear, the pairing is BatSupes.
