Highway Survival: Starting with a God-Tier Treasure Chest

·

Career arc:

At the end of the world, Wei Huan returns from eleven years in the future, full of ambition and ready to take part in the Highway Survival Challenge. By doing so, he'll gain supernatural abilities and be able to face the supernatural monsters appearing in the present day.

In his previous life, he didn't enter the forest to open the god-tier chest that was practically within arm's reach, because of an unwritten rule. This time, he won't miss it.

Romance arc:

Just before Wei Huan enters the challenge, a marriage proposal falls out of the sky.

His deadbeat father, on the verge of bankruptcy, takes his stepmother's advice and plans to marry him off to a disabled man.

Only after they meet does he learn that the man he's meant to marry is Mu Zhong.

·

·

Mu Zhong: The campus heartthrob of Challenger University, born with supernatural powers and a prospective member of Dragon Group's Sixth Squad. He only needs to gain a second supernatural ability in Highway Survival to officially join.

But an accident during a recent mission left Mu Zhong disabled and stripped him of his supernatural ability.

His only remaining value is to enter a political marriage with the eldest legitimate son of a lesser family, who has been denied his inheritance.

·

·

The day after the wedding, Wei Huan enters the Highway Survival Challenge and successfully gains a god-tier supernatural ability.

But then...

Ding!

A family member wants to join you. Mu Zhong requests to board. Accept?

P.S. Chapters are posted at 8 a.m. If there's no update, it means I'm revising.

This story is set in a fictional world.

Content notes

1. The protagonist is the pursuer. He's not selfish; having returned from a world reduced to ruins, he understands the importance of helping one another, so he leans a little toward being a saint.

2. The protagonist will become the leader of humanity, so at times his major decisions may seem ruthless.

3. Anyone who boards his vehicle will never betray him, no matter how serious their conflicts were beforehand. That's not a warning, so feel free to get attached to every teammate.

4. He's occasionally a man of few words, and his wife speaks for him. He loves his wife, and his wife loves him. There's no trouble in the romance, just a husband and husband taking on the world together, invincible as a team.

Finally, my next story will be Train Escape: The Gods Build a Nest on My Train. It's slightly connected to this one: the same vast world, but a different story on another plane.

Please add it to your reading list!!

Theme: There are countless paths in the world, but the one that suits you is the best one.
