[Fate] If Only We Could Meet

You are Artoria Pendragon, a radiant sun that guided all who lived beneath the skies of Britain a hundred years ago. Caliburn chose you, and the wizard Merlin taught you, yet none knew that your ignoble origins brought you not only a dark stain in the history books, but also a deep wound in your heart, inflicted by the mother who rejected you. You drove your blade into the chest of your only child. What gathered in your heart was not joy, but an exhaustion and sorrow that could never be erased. You are Mordred Pendragon, the brightest star in the night sky over Britain a hundred years ago. You possessed a radiance rivaling that of the sun, yet no one knew your brilliance. Your birth mother created you out of hatred, and your "father" denied you in the name of righteousness. So you swore to prove yourself, polishing yourself into a gleaming sword of vengeance through countless battles. Born for her, dying for her: if anyone dared to defile the sun's radiance, your sword would pierce them. She was your god, your kingdom, the sole reason for your existence. The Battle of Camlann was your final battlefield and your road home. Your king pierced your chest, and you died with regret in your heart. You made a wish: for time to turn back, so that you could be born earlier and have Caliburn prove your unparalleled brilliance. Thus, you were chosen by the Holy Grail and became one of the spirits in the Throne of Heroes. Given the name "Saber," you answered a mortal's summons and came to the present world to claim the supreme wish-granting device. If you meet again one day, will the glory of the past shine once more?
