[GANGSTA.] Warmth Asleep in the Depths of Death

--It was like the cold, lonely feeling of being abandoned deep in the snowy mountains, and a profound longing for warmth.

--I was too naive to think I could find warmth here...

--The warmth I long for is no longer possible. Now, only death can answer my yearning...

--This is our last chance... our last chance to find the warmth we long for!

"Warmth seeped into our very bones, then shattered in an instant--"

Reader's note:

1. This is a repost of a prompt list from the "Love Sky Forecast" writing shop. The cover was made by A Yan from the same shop, and it's amazing, isn't it?

2. A Qixi Festival gift for readers, and proof that the author has risen from the dead. I absolutely have not abandoned this story, I have not abandoned this story, I have not abandoned this story!!

3. I only watched the anime, so it seems I've already been hit with some face-slapping. Please ignore that. Also, this story forces a dark tone and has a bad ending, so read with caution if that's not your thing.
