[A Certain Magical Index] The Last Rose

Those fleeting years, spent like a puppet on strings,

may have been uneventful and utterly meaningless,

but I don't want them to vanish without a trace amid the bloodshed and chaos to come.

As for those quiet hours whose source I can never find,

at least let them come to an end in the palm of my hand...

"In the endless night, I pray for a fleeting glimpse of light, "

Reading notes:

① Inspired by watching the A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun TV anime. Also, this was a burst of inspiration that I wrote in a short time right before finals. I've downloaded the novels, but with finals so close, I've only read the first volume, so please forgive any bugs. I'm working hard to become a fan of the original works.

② The heroine is still on her abnormal, completely crazy route, and the ability settings in this story are pure nonsense. There's probably no way to explain them scientifically. I'm a humanities student who returned physics, chemistry, and biology to my old school long ago, so please go easy on any logical errors.

③ This is a cheerful story with no CP in the ending. Although I adore Shirai Kuroko, the way Kamachi played this has left me unable to tell whether it's straight romance or yuri. Even though one side is written entirely as a man in this story, I'm prepared to have that assumption emphatically face-slapped someday.
